Prayer is a direct line of communication with God through Christ our Saviour. It allows us to share our inner most thoughts, fears and desires with our heavenly Father who cares about us individually. What a privilege it is to pray for others (as well as ourselves) and watch the great ‘I Am’ at work. He knows whats best for us. Sometimes when we ask for something He gently says “No” or “Not now”. Whatever the reason we must accept the fact that He is God and knows best. I am so thankful for the things He said “No” to concerning my life. I think back on those prayers and realize how much more He gave me instead. Many times my prayer is almost immediately (within minutes) answered “YES” and it continues to blow me away. Why the God of the universe chooses to hear and bless me – I have no idea. All I can do in return is praise Him and thank Him over and over again. He is truly an awesome God!
