MORNING
The fruit of the Spirit is…self-control.
Everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. ✝ Do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit. ✝ If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. ✝ Let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober. ✝ Denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Corinthians 9:25-27, Ephesians 5:18, Matthew 16:24, 1 Thessalonians 5:6-8, Titus 2:12-13
EVENING
Grow up in all things into Him who is the head–Christ.
First the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. ✝ Till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. ✝ They, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. But He who glories, let him glory in the Lord. For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends. ✝ The substance is of Christ. Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God. ✝ Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

MORNING
The goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to an uninhabited land; and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. ✝ In those days and in that time,” says the Lord, “the iniquity of Israel shall be sought, but there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, but they shall not be found; for I will pardon those whom I preserve.” ✝ You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. ✝ Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity? ✝ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. ✝ He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. ✝ The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
Leviticus 16:22, Psalm 103:12, Jeremiah 50:20, Micah 7:19,18, Isaiah 53:6, Isaiah 53:11-12, John 1:29
EVENING
Who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive?
By the grace of God I am what I am. ✝ Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth. ✝ It is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. ✝ Where is boasting then? It is excluded. ✝ Christ Jesus…became for us wisdom from God–and righteousness and sanctification and redemption…He who glories, let him glory in the Lord ✝ You He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. ✝ You were washed,…you were sanctified,…you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

MORNING
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood.
Many waters cannot quench love, nor can the floods drown it. Love is as strong as death. ✝ Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. ✝ [He] Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness–by whose stripes you were healed. ✝ In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. ✝ You were washed,…yu were sanctified,…you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. ✝ You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. ✝ I beseech you…brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Revelation 1:5, Song of Solomon 8:7,6, John 15:13, 1 Peter 2:24, Ephesians 1:7, 1 Corinthians 6:11, 1 Peter 2:9, Romans 12:1
EVENING
There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
Azmaveth the son of Adiel was over the king’s treasuries; and Jehonathan…was over the storehouses. Ezri…was over those who did the work of the field for tilling the ground. Shimei…was over the vineyards. All these were the officials over King David’s property. ✝ God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. One and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. ✝ As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever.

MORNING
Moses did not know that the skin of his face shown while he talked with Him.
Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Your name give glory. ✝ Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? ✝ In lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Be clothed with humility. ✝ [Jesus] was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. ✝ All who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at [Stephan], saw his face as the face of an angel. ✝ The glory which You gave Me I have given them. ✝ We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. ✝ You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

EVENING
There are diversities of activities, but it is the same God, who works all in all.
Some from Manasseh defected to David. And they helped David against the bands of raiders, for they were all mighty men of valor. ✝ The manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. ✝ The sons of Issachar…had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do. ✝ To one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit. ✝ Of Zebulun there were fifty thousand who went out to battle, expert in war with all weapons of war, stouthearted men who could keep ranks. ✝ A double-middd man, unstable in all his ways. ✝ There should be no schism in the body, but…the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. ✝ One Lord, one faith, one baptism.

MORNING
Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.
Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God. ✝ Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear. ✝ For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. ✝ Jacob said to his household,…”Let us arise and go up to Bethel; and I will make an altar there to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me in the way which I have gone.” ✝ Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. ✝ I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. The pains of death surrounded me, and the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow. Then I called upon the name of the Lord.
Psalm 50:15, Psalm 42:11, Psalm 10:17, Psalm 86:5, Genesis 35:2-3, Psalm 103:2, Psalm 116:1-4
EVENING
Yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry.
Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. ✝ Beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. ✝ You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, long-suffering and abundant in mercy and truth. ✝ Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down! For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him.

MORNING
The Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
I know that You can do everything. ✝ The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. ✝ He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, “What have You done?” ✝ There is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it? ✝ Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. ✝ “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” ✝ “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” ✝ Mighty God. ✝ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. ✝ Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. ✝ Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed,…for there are more with us than with him.

EVENING
What is the word that the Lord has said to you?
He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? ✝ And to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good? ✝ As many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” ✝ But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made. ✝ God, who at various times and in different ways some in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son. ✝ Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears.

MORNING
The humble He teaches His way.
Blessed are the meek. ✝ I returned and saw under the sun that–the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill. ✝ A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. ✝ Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the handoff her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God. ✝ Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. ✝ O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You. ✝ If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. ✝ When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.

EVENING
O Lord God,…with Your blessing let the house of Your servant be blessed forever.
You have blessed it, O Lord, and it shall be blessed forever. ✝ The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. ✝ Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” ✝ When you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just. ✝ Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. ✝ Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. ✝ The Lord God is a sun and shield.

MORNING
I will not fear. What can man do to me?
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. ✝ Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him! ✝ Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for get is your reward in heaven. ✝ None of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy. ✝ I will speak of Your testimonies…before kings, and will not be ashamed.
Hebrews 13:6, Romans 8:35,37, Luke 12:4-5, Matthew 5:10-12, Acts 20:24, Psalm 119:46
EVENING
He…set my feet upon a rock.
That Rock was Christ. ✝ Simon Peter…said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” “On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” ✝ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, given among men by which we must be saved. ✝ Full assurance of faith. Hope without wavering. ✝ Faith without doubting. He who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. ✝ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

MORNING
You are God, ready to pardon, gracious and merciful.
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. ✝ The longsuffering of our Lord is salvation. ✝ For this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life. ✝ Whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. ✝ Do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? ✝ Rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and He relents from doing harm.
Nehemiah 9:17, 2 Peter 3:9, 2 Peter 3:15, 1 Timothy 1:16, Romans 15:4, Romans 2:4, Joel 2:13
EVENING
The words of the Lord are pure words.
Your word is very pure; therefore Your servant loves it. ✝ The statues of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. ✝ Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. ✝ Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways. ✝ Brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy–meditate on these things. ✝ As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby. ✝ We are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as of from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ. ✝ Nor handling the word of God deceitfully.

MORNING
The whole family in heaven and earth.
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. ✝ You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. ✝ That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth–in Him. ✝ He is not ashamed to call them brethren. ✝ Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother. ✝ Go to My brethren and say to them, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father.” ✝ I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed. ✝ That they should not be made perfect apart from us.

EVENING
In this manner,…pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
Jesus…lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father.” ✝ My Father and your Father. ✝ You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. ✝ You did not receive the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. ✝ Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son. ✝ Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. ✝ I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

MORNING
Be not far from Me, for trouble is near.
How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? ✝ Do not hide Your face from me; do not turn Your servant away in anger, You have been my help; do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. ✝ He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. ✝ The Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. ✝ I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. ✝ Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. ✝ God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ✝ Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation. My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.

EVENING
Hallowed be Your name.
For you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. ✝ Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? ✝ Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty. ✝ Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! ✝ I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of HIs robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim;…and one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” So I said, “Woe is me, for I am undone!” ✝ I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself. ✝ The blood of Jesus Christ His Son c;eases us from all sin. ✝ That we may be partakers of His holiness. ✝ Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,…let us draw near with a true heart.

It pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself. ✝ Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed. ✝ I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil. ✝ “Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord, “though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” ✝ Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity? ✝ Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace. ✝ Work out your own salvation with fear ad trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. ✝ Lord, You will establish peace for us, for You have also done all our works in us.

In the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. ✝ A stone…cut out without hands. ✝ “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts. ✝ The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, “See here!” or “See there!” For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you. ✝ To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come. ✝ Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. ✝ The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let hm who hears says, “Come!”

MORNING
From the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard.
Thus says the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. ✝ The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart–these, O God, You will not despise. ✝ Though the Lord is on high, yet He regards the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar. ✝ Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. ✝ God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore submit to God. ✝ You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me.
Daniel 10:12, Isaiah 57:15, Psalm 51:17, Psalm 138:6, 1 Peter 5:6, James 4:6-7, Psalm 86:5-7
EVENING
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Understand what the will of the Lord is. ✝ It is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. ✝ This is the will of God, your sanctification. ✝ That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. ✝ Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth. Therefore lay aside all filthiness. ✝ Be holy, for I am holy. ✝ [Jesus] said,…”For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.” ✝ Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. ✝ The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

MORNING
Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.
It pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities. ✝ Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory? ✝ We judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. ✝ Let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. ✝ He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God.
Romans 14:9, Isaiah 53:10-11, Luke 24:26, 2 Corinthians 5:14-15, Acts 2:36, 1 Peter 1:20-21
EVENING
Give us this day our daily bread.
I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. ✝ His…bread will be given him, his water will be sure. ✝ The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank form the brook. ✝ My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. ✝ Be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” ✝ He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna…that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. ✝ Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”

MORNING
God is my defense.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; the God of my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my Savior. ✝ The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. ✝ When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. ✝ We may body say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” ✝ The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? ✝ As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. ✝ Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. ✝ For Your name’s sake, lead me and guide me.

EVENING
Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
“Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” ✝ “You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?” And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses. ✝ Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. ✝ You…He has made alive,…having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us. He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. ✝ Even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

MORNING
Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. ✝ Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. ✝ Whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord. ✝ I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. ✝ Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business? ✝ Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up. ✝ Brethren, be even more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble. ✝ We desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. ✝ Run in such a way that you may obtain it.

EVENING
Do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks wisely will be delivered. ✝ Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own evil desires and enticed. ✝ Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” ✝ Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere…like the garden of the Lord. Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of of Jordan. But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the Lord. ✝ [The Lord] delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked. The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations. ✝ Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.

MORNING
In Your name they rejoice all day long, and in Your righteousness they are exalted.
In the Lord I have righteousness and strength. To Him men shall come, and all shall be ashamed who are incensed against Him. In the Lord all the descendants of Israel shall be justified, and shall glory. ✝ Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart! ✝ The righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. To demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. ✝ Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say rejoice! ✝ Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory.

EVENING
Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty. Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting. ✝ The Lord is…great in power. ✝ If God is for us, who can be against us? ✝ Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us,…and He will deliver us. ✝ My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. ✝ He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. ✝ Not unto to us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Your name give glory. ✝ Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted head over all. Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name. But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? MORNING
One of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
This is, the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you. ✝ The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls. ✝ It is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. ✝ And He said to them, “This My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.” ✝ With His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place…having obtained eternal redemption. ✝ Peace through the blood of His cross. ✝ You were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold,…but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot…manifest in these last times for you. ✝ Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you…from all your idols. ✝ Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience.

EVENING
Amen.
Amen! May the Lord God…say so too. ✝ He who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth. ✝ When God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself. For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. ✝ These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness. ✝ For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. ✝ Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things! And blessed be His glorious name forever! Amen and Amen.

The Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your for from being caught.
Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; with the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself. ✝ The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes. ✝ When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. ✝ I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning–Yes, more than those who watch for the morning. ✝ I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. ✝ The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say, “Destroy!” ✝ Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. ✝ What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

EVENING
Consolation in Christ,…comfort of love,…fellowship of the Spirit.
Man who is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble. He comes forth like a flower and fades away; he less like a shadow and does not continue. ✝ My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. ✝ The Father…will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever. The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name. ✝ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. ✝ If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words.

I delight in the law of God according to the upward man.
Oh how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. ✝ Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your words was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart. ✝ I sat down in his shade with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. ✝ I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. ✝ I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart. ✝ My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. ✝ The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. ✝ Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror.

EVENING
The Lord your God accept you.
With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the High God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of doubt to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? ✝ We are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags. ✝ There is one righteous, no not one. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness,…that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. ✝ Accepted in the Beloved. ✝ You are complete in Him.

Of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.
This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. ✝ Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! ✝ His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things. ✝ If children, then heirs–heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. ✝ I and My father are one. ✝ The Father is in Me, and I in Him. ✝ My Father and your Father, and…My God and your God. ✝ I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one. ✝ The church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. ✝ Having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

EVENING
A servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
There was…a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest. And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves. For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves.” ✝ The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. ✝ Jesus…rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.

O God, my heart is steadfast.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? ✝ You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. ✝ He will not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is established; he will not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies. ✝ Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. ✝ In the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. ✝ May the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever.

EVENING
The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.
The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord. ✝ If there is any calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it? ✝ I am the Lord, and there is no other; there is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, that they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I the Lord, do all these things. ✝ He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, “What have You done?” ✝ If God is for us, who can be against us? ✝ He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. ✝ Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

MORNING
One’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.
A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked. ✝ Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure with trouble. ✝ Godliness with contentment is great gain. Having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. ✝ Give me neither poverty nor riches—feed me with the food allotted to me; lest I be full and deny You, and say, “Who is the Lord?” Or lest I be poor and steal, and profane the name of my God. ✝ Give us this day our daily bread. ✝ Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? ✝ “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?” So they said, “Nothing.” ✝ Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

EVENING
It is the Spirit who gives life.
The first man Adam became a living being. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. ✝ That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ✝ Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Sprit. ✝ If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. ✝ It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God. ✝ Reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I have been cast out of Your sight; yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.
Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.” Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. ✝ I have forgotten prosperity. And I said, “My strength and my hope have perished from the Lord.” ✝ Awake! Why do You sleep, O Lord? Arise! Do not cast us off forever. ✝ Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from the Lord, and my just claim is passed over by my God”? ✝ With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer. ✝ Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance. ✝ We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

EVENING
The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, their tongues fall for thirst. I, the Lord, will hear them.
There are many who say, “Who will show us any good?” ✝ What has man for all his labor, and for the striving of his heart with which he has toiled under the sun? For all his days are sorrowful, and his work is burdensome; even in the night his heart takes no rest. All is vanity and grasping for the wind. ✝ They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewn themselves cisterns–broken cisterns that can hold no water. ✝ The one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. ✝ I will pour water on him who is thirsty. ✝ Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. ✝ O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.

MORNING
Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. ✝ He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. ✝ “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”…“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” ✝ Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.
Matthew 28:20, Matthew 18:19-20, John 14:21, John 14:22-23, Jude 24-25
EVENING
The end of all things is at hand.
I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. ✝ The heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word…reserved for fire until the day of judgment. ✝ God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. ✝ You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. ✝ We have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. ✝ We…look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, looking forward to theses things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless.

MORNING
The Lord reigns.
“Do you not fear Me?” says the Lord. “Will you not tremble at My presence, who have placed the sand as the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it? And though its waves toss to and fro, yet they cannot prevail; though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it.” ✝ Exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another. ✝ He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. ✝ You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. ✝ If God is for us, who can be against us? ✝ Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Psalm 99:1, Jeremiah 5:22, Psalm 75:6-7, Daniel 2:21, Matthew 24:6, Romans 8:31, Matthew 10:29-31
EVENING
Take heed to your spirit.
“Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow with us.” But Jesus said to him, “Do not forbid him, for he who is not against us is on our side.” “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?” But He…rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.” ✝ “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.” So Joshua the son of Nun…answered and said, “Moses my lord, forbid them!” Then Moses said to him, “Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!” ✝ The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

MORNING
He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.
Then the priest shall command to take for him who is to be cleansed two living and clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop. And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water. As for the living bird, he shall take it, the cedar wood and the scarlet and the hyssop, and dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water. And he shall sprinkle it seven times on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose in the open field. ✝ Behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” ✝ And Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
Matthew 8:17, Leviticus 14:4-7, Luke 5:12, Mark 1:41-42
EVENING
He whom you bless is blessed.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ✝ Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. ✝ Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it! ✝ Blessed are those who do HIs commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

MORNING
He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor; therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; and His own righteousness, it sustained Him.
Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; my ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require. Then I said, “Behold, I come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart.” ✝ I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. ✝ there is no other God besides Me, a just God and a Savior; there is none besides Me. Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. ✝ There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. ✝ You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His proverb might become rich.
Isaiah 59:16, Psalm 40:6-8, John 10:17-18, Isaiah 45:21-22, Acts 4:12, 2 Corinthians 8:9
EVENING
The enemy.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. ✝ Resist the devil and he will flee from you. ✝ Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. ✝ Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.

MORNING
He is altogether lovely.
May my meditation be sweet to Him. ✝ My believed is…chief among ten thousand. ✝ A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame. ✝ You are fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured upon Your lips. ✝ God…has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name. ✝ It pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell. ✝ Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory. ✝ I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

EVENING
David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.
Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. ✝ I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day. ✝ In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry came before Him, even to His ears. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my support. He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me. ✝ I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

MORNING
It is god that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies? ✝ I said in my haste, “I am cut off from before Your eyes”; nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications when I cried out to You. ✝ Shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. ✝ Wait for the Lord, and He will save you. ✝ Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. ✝ You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. ✝ Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. ✝ See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until receives the early and latter rain.

EVENING
Catch us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes.
Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. ✝ [Look] carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled. ✝ You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? ✝ He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ. ✝ The tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. No man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. ✝ Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt.

MORNING
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts.
Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or His counselor has taught Him? ✝ God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. ✝ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit. ✝ Born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. ✝ My Spirit remains among you; do not fear! ✝ The battle is not yours, but God’s. ✝ The Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s.

EVENING
Do as You have said.
Establish Your word to Your servant, who is devoted to fearing You. So shall I have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in Your word. Remember the word to Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope. Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of coins of gold and silver. Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides. ✝ God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus. ✝ Exceedingly great and precious promises.
