MORNING
The fruit of the Spirit is…joy.
Joy in the Holy Spirit. ✝ Inexpressible and full of glory. ✝ Sorrowful, yet always rejoicing;…exceedingly joyful in all our tribulation. ✝ We also glory in tribulations. ✝ Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame. ✝ These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. ✝ As the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. ✝ Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! ✝ The joy of the Lord is your strength. ✝ In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. ✝ For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountain of waters. His name shall be Solomon [peaceful], for I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days. ✝ Indeed a greater than Solomon is here. ✝ Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. ✝ My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places, though hail comes down on the forest, and the city is brought low in humiliation. ✝ He Himself is our peace. ✝ This One shall be peace. MORNING
If you return to the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths from among you, and prepare your hearts for the Lord, and serve Him only.
Little children, keep yourselves from idols. ✝ “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?
He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. ✝ The Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith. ✝ Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. ✝ Of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth,…so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” ✝ For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all. You were like a firebrand plucked from the burning.
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness has seized the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
You have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest,…but you have come to Mount Zion to…God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant. ✝ Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. ✝ We do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. He always lives to make intercession.
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died,…who also makes intercession for us. ✝ Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us. ✝ If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. ✝ There is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. ✝ Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens. Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. We…rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations. ✝ I am filled with comfort. Teach me Your way, O Lord.

MORNING
What the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh.
The law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? ✝ By Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. ✝ Inasmuch…as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
There is none righteous, no, not one. The Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God your glory. ✝ The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. ✝ Glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s ✝ You are…a royal priesthood,…that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. ✝ You…as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ✝ By Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. ✝ My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. ✝ Christ…suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. ✝ The way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing. ✝ I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. ✝ No one comes to the Father except through Me. ✝ Through Him we…have access by one Spirit to the Father. If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord. God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering. ✝ Behold! The Lord was my support.
Truly, in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains; truly, in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel. ✝ The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. ✝ Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst! ✝ The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. The Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken.

Behold! The Lamb of God.
It is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come–in the volume of the book it is written of Me–to do Your will, O God.'” ✝ He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before it shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth. ✝ You were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold,…but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes. Not only they, but we also have the firstfruits of the Spirit,…groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. ✝ Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. ✝ When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. ✝ “I am coming quickly.” Amen. He who is slow to wrath has great understanding.
The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering.” ✝ The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. ✝ Be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love. ✝ The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. ✝ This is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully. But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. Christ…suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps; who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when he suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously. ✝ Be angry, and do not sin.
