The attributes of God are descriptions of who God is.

An “attribute” can be defined as something God has revealed Himself to be. God’s attributes are revealed truths of who He is and are revealed in scripture through His word.

I believe God’s character traits are infinite and because of that, this list will continue to grow and expand. Therefore, I doubt it will ever be completed. He is constantly revealing Himself to those who believe, by faith. As we read we understand more about Him and Who He is…

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise.” Hebrews 10:23

TRUTH: “All who invoke a blessing or take an oath will do so by the God of truth.” Isaiah 65:16a

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

Of course not! Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true. As the Scriptures say about Him, “You will be proved right in what you say, and you will win your case in court.” Romans 3:4

“This is the message from the One who is holy and true, the One who has the key of David. What He opens, no one can close; and what He closes, no one can open.” Revelation 3:7
